SIG Sauer has introduced their new 9mm hammer-fired pistol called P211-GTO, a modern take on the classic 1911 double-stack design. The P211-GTO features a 4.4-inch bull barrel paired with SIG’s MACH3D compensator, a 3D-printed component designed to significantly reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil.
The result is claimed to allow for faster follow-up shots and improved control, especially under sustained rapid fire. I think everyone who ever used a handgun with an efficient compensator understands the difference in performance, otherwise I suggest that you try it out at your earliest opportunity.
A full-length dust cover not only enhances balance and weight distribution but also offers generous rail space for mounting lights or other accessories. The reinforced frame adds rigidity and delivers a purposeful, tactical look. At the core of the firing experience is a straight-pull trigger that offers a clean, consistent break for enhanced comfort and precision. The pull is specified at 3.5-4 lb.
Safety is built in, with a grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safeties, and a firing pin safety. Each pistol ships with magazines that are fully compatible with the SIG P320 platform, ensuring both capacity and reliability in a proven package.

The model called 211F-9-GTO-B-RXSL comes with XRAY3 day and night sights, instead of the standard fiber optic front, black fixed rear.
